The 12GB memory and 256GB storage model costs 229,800 yen, and the 16GB memory and 512GB storage model costs 269,800 yen, both tax included. Both configurations come in M size for 60 to 66mm interpupillary distance and L size for 66 to 72mm. The headset's glasses portion weighs roughly 95 grams and connects to a separate compute pack carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon Reality Elite chip, memory, storage, and battery. The pack has a front touchpad for operating the OS and apps, unlike the Meta VR Glasses announced in September 2026, whose pack has only a power button. XREAL plans general order acceptance within the next few weeks, with shipping set for within the year.","whyItMatters":"At over 200,000 yen, XREAL Aura is priced for developers and early adopters rather than a mass audience, and the reservation-pass system already drew enough demand that XREAL restricted advance purchases to customers who reserved by October 7.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe payment window opened at 21:00 on October 7 for pass holders in Japan, the United States, Canada, and South Korea, with other regions rolling out in 2027.
