The 12GB/256GB model is 229,800 yen and the 16GB/512GB model is 269,800 yen. Full prepayment brings a 29,900 yen cashback, dropping the lower model to 199,900 yen. A wireless keyboard and game controller are also on pre-order.
The AURA's price and pre-order terms put XREAL's Android XR headset against a market where the hardware, not the app library, is now the purchase decision.

The AURA splits into video glasses with three cameras and a compute pack that runs Android XR, joined by a USB Type-C cable and powered by the pack's battery. That design is why the headset can run Android XR apps, Android apps, and video from a connected PC or game console. Hand tracking covers most input, and the top of the compute pack works as a touchpad for apps that need it. Google's Gemini answers to voice and can search around an object traced with a finger. The launch price is less a fixed number than a test of how many buyers will pay in full months before the November 27 ship date.
XREAL began general pre-orders for the XREAL AURA on November 2, 2026, with the Android XR headset due in Japan on November 27 at 14:00.
