Kohata posted on X and Instagram on Tuesday the 20th that he appears a little in the next day's broadcast, with a photo of the script. The role is undisclosed. Li died in VIVANT episode 21 after a car explosion and gunfire from Nogi's alternate personality F.","whyItMatters":"Kohata's VIVANT exit came fast enough that a same-week Aibou turn reads as a quick re-entry for a character actor whose bowl-cut villain role had just made him recognizable.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe Aibou announcement arrived one day after Kohata\u0026#39;s post and two days after his VIVANT exit. On Lavitt! on Monday the 19th, the day after Li died on screen, Kohata did roughly one hour and fifty minutes of promotion alone because his co-star Rinrin was late, and the two ended up sharing the punishment game\u0026#39;s electric chair. Kohata also said on the program that cutting his hair into Li\u0026#39;s blunt-bangs bowl cut cost him other jobs. Fan replies to his post split between expecting another operative role and asking to see him play someone who is neither a villain nor a foreigner. Aibou season25 opens with an expanded first-episode special at 21:00 on the 21st.\u003c/p\u003e","blueskyPost":"Ryu Kohata played Li Mingze, whose exit from VIVANT came in episode 21. Li Mingze died in episode 21, and Aibou season25 lists no role for him, so the gap between a known death and an unnamed part is what drew the attention.","newsletterBlurb":"Ryu Kohata is moving from VIVANT to Aibou. The actor, whose Li Mingze died in VIVANT episode 21, said on X and Instagram that he appears a little in Aibou season25's October 21 broadcast and posted a script photo. The role is undisclosed, and Aibou season25 opens that night with an expanded first-episode special.","attributionJson":"[{\"source\":\"Magmix\",\"url\":\"https://magmix.jp/post/381732\",\"title\":\"VIVANT's Ryu Kowata (50), who played the departed \\\"Li,\\\" to appear in \\\"Aibou\\\"; role unknown, drawing attention\"}]","lintFlagsJson":null,"lintHits":0,"costUsd":0,"inputTokens":4785,"outputTokens":614,"status":"published","repairAttempts":0,"nextRepairAt":null,"factsAttemptedAt":1792569437,"createdAt":"2026-10-21T07:51:56.000Z","publishedAt":"2026-10-21T07:56:07.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-21T07:56:07.000Z"},"cluster":{"id":"c_29e22523afb34320f314d996","canonicalTitle":"VIVANT・退場しちゃった「李」役の木幡竜さん（50）が『相棒』に出演　役柄は不明で注目集まる","representativeArticleId":"a_e8738ca4ffe905d9fd5a0910","sourceCount":1,"writtenSourceCount":1,"writeAttempts":0,"isSolo":true,"entitiesJson":"{\"anime_titles\":[],\"manga_titles\":[],\"work_titles\":[\"VIVANT\",\"Aibou\"],\"studios\":[],\"people\":[\"Ryu Kohata\"],\"type\":\"news\",\"domain\":\"other\",\"is_roundup\":false}","contentType":"news","status":"published","firstSeenAt":"2026-10-21T03:40:00.000Z","lastSeenAt":"2026-10-21T08:50:00.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-21T10:09:06.000Z"},"attribution":[{"source":"Magmix","url":"https://magmix.jp/post/381736","title":"『VIVANT』21話に登場の“謎の美女”に「綺麗すぎる」と絶賛の嵐　驚きの「正体」が判明"}],"entities":{"anime_titles":[],"manga_titles":[],"work_titles":["VIVANT","Aibou"],"studios":[],"people":["Ryu Kohata"],"type":"news","domain":"other","is_roundup":false},"keyFacts":null}
