The episode follows Han Linxin, leader of the group Shinshi, as she moves to take revenge on Yusuke Nogi (Masato Sakai) and the intelligence organization Bebban, and to seize Jamin (Sae Honma). Reinforcements from Nokor (Kazunari Ninomiya) and Chinggis (Barsarhagba Batbold) prove futile, leaving Kaoru Yuki (Fumi Nikaido) and Jamin in a life-threatening predicament. Nogi faces a choice: if he goes to help, his true identity will be exposed to the person he loves. Amid this, Nogi firms up his resolve. The episode aired shortly after Episode 22 revealed that Nogoon Beki (Koji Yakusho), Nogi's father, is alive. Producer Kazutaka Iida said the remaining two episodes contain secrets under a gag order.","whyItMatters":"Producer Kazutaka Iida said the foreshadowing for Beki's survival was planted from Season 1, when Nogi correctly guessed the weight of Jamin's bread, framing the reveal as a thread the staff had to keep quiet about for three years.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eEpisode 23 is the 13th installment of Season 2, which aired across two cours.
