Nogi Yusuke and his team spent the episode preparing to rescue five abducted Beppan members, and the operation was pushed to the following week. Viewers then noted that much of the roughly 1.5-minute long preview posted on TBS's official YouTube channel, titled for Episode 19, showed footage that did not appear in the episode.
The preview's content, which viewers read as material from across the second half rather than Episode 19 alone, is now a measure of how much of the Beppan rescue arc remains unresolved.

The long preview for Episode 19 ran about 1.5 minutes on TBS's official YouTube channel and was posted as of October 1. Much of that footage did not air in the episode. Among the sequences viewers flagged were an explosion inside Shaki Castle, a car chase, and Shinjo Kotaro and others in different attire from the black vehicles used to infiltrate the castle, ramming a bus into a line of police officers. It also showed Yuki Kaoru and Jamin in Japan being attacked while they slept, and police officer Chinggis hiding in a forest-like place and being detained.

Episode 19 instead spent its time on preparations, including persuading villagers around Shaki Castle, and carried the operation over just as it was about to begin. The preview for Episode 20, airing on the 11th, says preparations for the Beppan rescue are complete and the assault on the enemy stronghold begins.

VIVANT's long preview showed footage that never aired in Episode 19, and the episode pushed its rescue operation to next week. The 1.5-minute cut may be pitching the whole back half, not one episode.
VIVANT's Episode 19 long preview showed shots the episode itself skipped. The 1.5 minutes may be selling the back half, not one week.
VIVANT Episode 19 aired with its rescue operation deferred to the following week, and much of the 1.5-minute long preview did not appear in the episode at all. That gap suggests TBS cut the preview as a trailer for the back half of the run rather than a trailer for the episode it was labeled after.
VIVANT Episode 19 aired on October 4 after a two-week break and spent its run on preparations, carrying the Beppan rescue over to the following week.
