The set combines VITURE Beast XR Glasses, the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock with a 13,000mAh battery, and a Mobile Dock Cover for Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 console and Joy-Con 2 are not included.","whyItMatters":"The judges' citation treats the set as a design answer to a specific constraint: the Switch 2 as a hybrid console that still depends on a TV or a stationary dock for large-screen play, which the XR glasses and battery dock are meant to remove.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe award entry is not a single device. It is three: the VITURE Beast XR Glasses, the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock, and a Mobile Dock Cover for Nintendo Switch 2, sold as one set. The glasses render a virtual screen equivalent to 174 inches at a distance of 4 meters, with a 58 degree field of view and a native 3DoF function that keeps the screen fixed in space when the user turns their head. The dock handles connection and power from a built-in 13,000mAh battery, and the cover joins the console to the dock for carrying. The set pairs the Beast XR Glasses with the Pro Mobile Dock and a Mobile Dock Cover for Nintendo Switch 2, aimed at large-screen play away from a TV or stationary dock. The judges cited weight balance, natural line of sight, and simple connection; the console and Joy-Con 2 are not included.","attributionJson":"[{\"source\":\"PANORA\",\"url\":\"https://panora.tokyo/archives/160179\",\"title\":\"VITURE Beast Switch 2 Gaming Set, Which Lets You Play Nintendo Switch 2 on a Large Screen, Wins 2026 Good Design Award\"}]","lintFlagsJson":null,"lintHits":0,"costUsd":0,"inputTokens":4694,"outputTokens":810,"status":"published","repairAttempts":0,"nextRepairAt":null,"factsAttemptedAt":1792126340,"createdAt":"2026-10-16T04:48:05.000Z","publishedAt":"2026-10-16T04:51:11.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-16T04:51:11.000Z"},"cluster":{"id":"c_55274769a6231d1caf247c9e","canonicalTitle":"Nintendo Switch 2を大画面でプレイできる「VITURE Beast Switch 2 ゲーミングセット」が2026年度グッドデザイン賞を受賞","representativeArticleId":"a_fd336cf08aaf2f1d51d945db","sourceCount":1,"writtenSourceCount":1,"writeAttempts":0,"isSolo":true,"entitiesJson":"{\"anime_titles\":[],\"manga_titles\":[],\"work_titles\":[\"VITURE Beast Switch 2 Gaming Set\"],\"studios\":[\"VITURE\"],\"people\":[\"David Jiang\"],\"type\":\"news\",\"domain\":\"games\",\"is_roundup\":false}","contentType":"news","status":"published","firstSeenAt":"2026-10-16T02:56:44.000Z","lastSeenAt":"2026-10-16T02:56:44.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-16T04:51:06.000Z"},"attribution":[{"source":"PANORA","url":"https://panora.tokyo/archives/160179","title":"Nintendo Switch 2を大画面でプレイできる「VITURE Beast Switch 2 ゲーミングセット」が2026年度グッドデザイン賞を受賞"}],"entities":{"anime_titles":[],"manga_titles":[],"work_titles":["VITURE Beast Switch 2 Gaming Set"],"studios":["VITURE"],"people":["David Jiang"],"type":"news","domain":"games","is_roundup":false},"keyFacts":null}
