A faint rights notice reading "(C)Expo 2025" appears in the lower right of the image. Social media users are guessing the figure could be Myaku-Myaku, the Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai mascot. The announcement is scheduled for September 30.
The rights notice tucked into the image corner points to Expo 2025's mascot as the likely partner, so the park's tease reads less like a riddle and more like a quiet confirmation ahead of the September 30 reveal.

The image was shot in the evening and shows the official hotel The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan along with the Universal Globe. The rights notice in the lower right, reading "(C)Expo 2025," narrowed the field for many. If it is Myaku-Myaku, USJ's next reveal is a mascot tie-in dressed as a mystery drop.
The (C)Expo 2025 notice in the corner settles it: this reveal is Expo IP, so the silhouette is likely Myaku-Myaku, not a new USJ original.
The rights notice tucked into the corner matters more than the silhouette itself. Universal Studios Japan's teaser carries a (C)Expo 2025 credit, which points to Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai IP rather than a USJ original creation. If the reveal is Myaku-Myaku, the mystery is an Expo tie-in.
Universal Studios Japan's official X account posted a mystery silhouette on September 29, 2026, promising a reveal the next day.
