The psychological horror romance visual novel is set at Fresh High School, where Kum Gyuri transfers as a scholarship student and meets twin brothers Shin Melon and Shin Lemon. The trial covers about one hour of a four to five hour game. The full release is planned for the first half of 2027 and will be free.","whyItMatters":"A free full release after a one hour trial is an unusual way to launch a Korean-made, Japanese-supported visual novel outside the usual paid indie pattern, and the Steam Next Fest slot from October 19 to 26 is the window where that choice gets tested.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe trial runs linear, with no branching choices, and covers roughly the early hour of the full game. The finished version is planned for the first half of 2027 on Steam for Windows and macOS, in Korean, English, and Japanese, with three endings and about four to five hours of play. Character sprites, backgrounds, and CGs are drawn in pixel art, with some animated direction. NewooGames also plans to join Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 19 to 26.\u003c/p\u003e","blueskyPost":"Tropical Romance charges nothing at launch, so the trial's one hour is doing the work a price tag normally does: proving whether a four-to-five hour psychological horror romance earns the time.","twitterPost":"Tropical Romance launches free, so its one-hour trial carries a job price tags usually do: proving a four-to-five hour horror romance is worth the time.","threadsPost":"Tropical Romance is free when it launches in the first half of 2027, which puts unusual weight on its one-hour Steam trial. With no price to signal value, the demo has to prove the full four-to-five hour psychological horror romance earns the player's time on its own.","newsletterBlurb":"NewooGames put a trial version of Tropical Romance on Steam on September 28.
