RISE magazine announced on Thursday that the Trigun franchise will get a novel, Trigun Manuscript, this winter. Series creator Yasuhiro Nightow writes it with Trigun Stampede writer Takehiko Oxi. The novel is set in the world of the Trigun Stampede and Trigun Stargaze anime. Trigun Stargaze premiered on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels on January 10, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired with an English dub.
The novel pairs the manga's original author with a writer from the Stampede reboot and builds on the Stampede and Stargaze anime world rather than the 1998 adaptation, which points the franchise's prose output at the newer continuity.

Shueisha's Jump SQ.
