The remake of Trails in the Sky SC peaked at about 15,000 concurrent Steam players, roughly 1,000 above Trails in the Sky the 1st and the highest of any Falcom title on Steam. Steam user reviews sit at about 96% positive from roughly 610 reviews.","whyItMatters":"The sequel remake has passed the previous game's Steam concurrent peak, which shows the audience Falcom rebuilt with the 1st carried over into the second half of the story rather than dropping off at the sequel.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe release commemorative sale runs on Steam until September 24, with 10% off, and trial versions are available on each platform. Combat runs on a switch between quick battles, which start on enemy contact and allow one-button actions and cooperative attacks that consume a gauge, and command battles, where allies and enemies act in turn order and the player picks attack, defend, skills, or orbment magic. Nihon Falcom's 96% positive from 610 reviews is the number that carries the trilogy.","threadsPost":"Trails in the Sky the 2nd peaks about 1,000 concurrents above the 1st on Steam, a slim margin for a Falcom record. The 96% positive from roughly 610 reviews is the part Nihon Falcom can bank on, since remake trilogies live or die on the second chapter's reception.","newsletterBlurb":"Nihon Falcom's Trails in the Sky the 2nd launched September 17 on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PS5.
