Alongside the broadcast date, the production revealed a teaser PV, character art, and main cast and staff. Yoko Hikasa voices the protagonist Navier, with Ryohei Kimura as Heinrey, Tomoaki Maeno as Sovieshu, and Reina Ueda as Rashta. TROYCA handles animation production, and HAYATE produces. The source work is a romance fantasy distributed on LINE Manga, written by Alphatart with art by SUMPUL and adaptation by HereLee. As of July 2026 it has recorded 2.97 billion views worldwide, and a live-action Korean drama adaptation is also in the works. The director is Tetsuya Yanagisawa, with series composition and script by Akiko Inoue, character design by Jun Nakai, and music by Yuki Fukazawa. The story follows Navier, a political bride to childhood friend Sovieshu, who is asked for a divorce after he favors his concubine Rashta, and who then demands remarriage to Prince Heinrey of a neighboring kingdom.
HAYATE, the production company behind the adaptation, was jointly established by Aniplex and Crunchyroll, making this one of the first titles to carry that partnership's output. The cluster lists a full staff and cast months ahead of the 2027 broadcast, but no episode count or release window beyond the year, which is unusual for a first announcement of this size.

The teaser PV and character art center on four figures, each paired with a flower chosen to match their role.

Navier, accompanied by a red rose.

Heinrey, in line to the Western Kingdom's throne, paired with sweet peas.

Sovieshu, the Eastern Empire's emperor, paired with a lily.

Rashta, the concubine he met during a hunt, paired with baby's breath.

A new illustration of Navier was released with handwritten Japanese messages from original author Alphatart, artist SUMPUL and adapter HereLee.

The announcement also filled out the lead roles with credits.
