A first look at the 3D model of guest character Yujiro Hanma, who joins this winter as the fourth additional character of Season 3, closed the trailer, though his battle system and specific moves were not shown.
Tekken 8's Season 3 pass leans on two very different kinds of nostalgia: a playable roster slot returning after about 14 years, and a guest from Keisuke Itagaki's Baki the Grappler whose move set is still unshown.

The trailer puts the fighting mostly on the mother kangaroo, with animations for Roger Jr. in the pouch also given substantial work, so the parent and child fight together. The style is close-range, built to offset short reach with powerful throws, and it leans on the new stance Astronauts and the option-heavy Rocket Stance to force 50/50 situations. The Rage Art sends the opponent to the moon and destroys it, an idea the development team traced to the endings of Tekken 5 and Tekken 6, where the opponent is launched to the ceiling. Yujiro Hanma is the father of Baki Hanma.

Tekken 8 showed Roger Jr. gameplay at EVO France 2026, with the kangaroo parent and child returning as playable after about 14 years.
