The player is a streamer targeted by a serial killer who unboxes suspicious packages that arrive daily. Each package holds clues, strange items, or things that can kill the player. Wrong choices lead to death, and a new streamer continues the investigation. The release date is undecided.
The demo puts the opening portion of the game in front of players while the release date and Japanese display support remain unsettled, so the feedback window now runs alongside continued development.

The demo covers a "Prologue" and "Chapter 1" that let players play the opening portion of the game.

Death is built into the progression. A wrong decision kills the streamer, but the run does not end: a new streamer inherits the will and assets and continues the case. Streaming itself is a mechanic, since viewers react to uproars and trouble, and a hotter stream makes the investigation go more favorably. Tips from viewers become funds used in the game.

Each case has multiple solutions, and the story's direction changes with the player's decisions and investigation methods, leading to multiple endings. The release date is undecided, and the game does not currently support Japanese display.

Bet You Won't hands the investigation to a new streamer after each death, so the demo's death endings aren't failures but the plot moving forward. TastyPotato built continuing story into the losing condition.
TastyPotato makes death in Bet You Won't a handoff: a new streamer picks up the case, so losing a run advances the plot.
Bet You Won't kills the player and keeps going: when a choice goes wrong, a new streamer continues the investigation. TastyPotato's demo makes death a plot device rather than a reset, which fits the unboxing-clue loop better than a standard game over.
TastyPotato released a demo for its horror adventure game Bet You Won't on Steam on October 3, 2026.
