The title is a coupled collection of two role-playing games: Estpolis Denki, released by Taito in 1993, and Estpolis Denki II, released in 1995. Masahide Miyata, the planner of the Estpolis Denki series, is cooperating on the project, and adjustments are being made for the port to current platforms. A teaser site and the Steam store page opened alongside the announcement, and both carry messages from Taito, Masahide Miyata, and Clear River Games, the company handling sales in the West. The first game follows a protagonist descended from a legendary hero and a girl named Lufia. The second is a prequel starring Maxim, later hailed as a hero, and its systems include the Step Move System.","whyItMatters":"The confirmed platforms include Nintendo Switch 2 alongside the original Switch, placing the collection on both generations of Nintendo hardware at once, and Clear River Games is named as the Western sales handler while the price remains unset.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eTaito paired the announcement with a teaser movie and a Steam store page, plus a teaser site at taito.co.jp/estpolis. Its dungeons mix action puzzle elements, and the game also features Capsule Monster raising and roguelike stages.
