The app routes audio directly between users over peer-to-peer connections instead of through a server, and in one confirmed test between IPv6 lines in the Tokyo area the network round-trip time was about 10 milliseconds. It also carries synchronized lyrics, multitrack recording, and separate monitor and stream audio paths. It is free until the official release.
Routing audio peer-to-peer rather than through a server is the technical choice that makes remote duet singing usable, and the open beta puts that under public load before the official release.

Beyond latency, the app separates the audio a performer hears from the audio sent to OBS and recording software. The monitor feed favors low latency; the stream and recording feed is given more margin to avoid dropouts.

A synchronization feature called SYNC picks one person in the room as the rhythm reference and corrects the timing of each audio stream for streaming and recording. Users can also build a shared stream screen, called a World, with more than 20 kinds of items including clocks, countdowns, dice, and mini-games, edited simultaneously by room members and saved to the cloud.

The install wizard walks new users through microphone and headphone setup, and guests get a dedicated My Room.

SyncueSong's about 10 ms round-trip in a Tokyo IPv6 test is the number that matters. Peer-to-peer routing skips the relay server, so duet timing depends on the two users' own connections.
SyncueSong's peer-to-peer routing puts duet timing on the users' own connections. The 10 ms test is a best case, not a baseline.
SyncueSong's 10 ms round-trip test between IPv6 lines in Tokyo is a result Dokokano Usagi can point to, but it is one confirmed test. Peer-to-peer routing removes the relay server and hands the duet's timing to whatever connection each singer has.
Dokokano Usagi released the open beta of SyncueSong, a Windows app for remote singing and session work, on October 23.
