Wishlist registrations passed 100,000 as of October 7. The demo arrived alongside Steam Next Fest, and the game's fighting is close quarters: tanks ram and hammer machine legions with turrets and hulls rather than firing shells. To thank players, an event is in preparation to hand out a Cape customization item for the full release, with terms and timing to be announced later.","whyItMatters":"A demo that only adds to libraries is a weak signal on its own, but Next Stage is now converting that attention into a reward event tied to playtime, which moves the question from whether people noticed SLAM TANK to whether they actually play it.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe reward is a Cape that flutters from the turret, and the stated conditions are playing the demo for 20 minutes or more or clearing it. Next Stage's Cape giveaway targets the gap, not the players already in.","threadsPost":"SLAM TANK's wishlist count (100,000) is double its demo library adds (50,000). Next Stage's Cape giveaway reads as a conversion push for undecided players, not a thank-you to people who already played.","newsletterBlurb":"Next Stage's tank brawler SLAM TANK has passed 50,000 demo library additions on Steam, with wishlists above 100,000 as of October 7.
