She has done time behind the scenes as well: before The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity, she drew drama and romance one-shots and worked as an assistant to Satoru Nii, the mangaka of Wind Breaker. From that stint she credits the workflow of producing a manga, not only the drawing of it. The CloverWorks adaptation follows Kaoruko Waguri and Rintaro Tsumugi, whose schools sit across from each other, one a private all-girls academy and the other an all-boys school with a rougher reputation.\u003c/p\u003e","blueskyPost":"Saka Mikami says The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity is a shonen series, though readers online often call it shojo.
