It runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Chinese pricing is 6,999 yuan for 12GB + 256GB, 7,999 yuan for 16GB + 512GB, and 8,999 yuan for 16GB + 1TB, with a 24GB + 1TB Golden Saga model also planned. The display rises from 144Hz to 185Hz and hides a 16-megapixel under-display camera.
Wider liquid cooling coverage and a 700Hz trigger sampling rate show REDMAGIC keeping its tuning aimed at sustained framerates rather than shrinking the body, which it still managed to make 0.35mm thinner and 7g lighter.

The display stays 6.85 inches at 2688x1216 dots, but the refresh rate jumps from 144Hz on the REDMAGIC 11 Pro+ to 185Hz here, with thinner bezels. Nubia says the panel is the world's first to combine a 185Hz refresh rate with a 16-megapixel under-display camera, which removes both punch hole and notch.

The liquid cooling loop, visible through a transparent section of the back, now covers the chipset area to the right of the upper camera. It works alongside the built-in air cooling fan, whose intake and exhaust slits sit on the sides, and the battery grows from 7,500mAh to 8,400mAh while keeping 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.

REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ jumps from 144Hz to 185Hz without shrinking the screen for a notch.
