The announcement and introduction video named cards including Mega Mewtwo X ex, Mega Greninja ex, Mega Dragonite ex, Pikachu ex, Fuecoco ex, Mew ex, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. A separate special pack, First Partners, joins the game alongside Dual Fusion. Special packs open with Special Pack Power, which recharges once a week, and each First Partners pack holds one guaranteed ★ card, with trading allowed against cards of the same rarity in most cases. The First Partners lineup depicts the first partner Pokémon of the nine regions used as Pokémon settings.","whyItMatters":"The Dual Fusion date is paired with a second, non-standard pack type on a separate weekly recharge, so the release changes how players spend pack resources, not only what cards they collect.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe Dual Fusion announcement ties into a separate 30th anniversary promotion.
