He releases November 2 on PS5. The character pairs Cyclops' Optic Blast with Phoenix Force flames, and the video explains his Solar Shard meter, the Dark Phoenix state it unlocks, and Surging Flame, which passes through an opponent at a health cost. Thor, Venom, and Jubilee follow in the Year 1 lineup.
The guide lands two days before Phoenix Cyclops goes on sale and lays out a Solar Shard meter that gates his Dark Phoenix state, so the first Year 1 addition arrives with its own resource system rather than a plain Cyclops variant.

Phoenix Cyclops runs on a resource meter called Solar Shard. Landing specific skills lights the icons, and using the matching move with every icon filled moves him into Dark Phoenix state, where some moves get stronger and Surging Flame becomes available.

Surging Flame passes through the opponent to reach the other side, but it drains the health gauge and shortens the remaining Dark Phoenix time, so the guide frames it as a way to break a guard at a chosen moment rather than a move to repeat. Dark Ascension, his 100-gauge move, can also enter Dark Phoenix state and returns Solar Shards on hit.

Sony published a guide video for Phoenix Cyclops, the first Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls DLC character, out November 2 on PS5.
