The roughly 27.2g unit attaches to a collar, infers a dog's or cat's mood and desires from vocalizations, and relays them as Japanese-language messages. It also plays owner-directed audio to the pet, checks location over Bluetooth, and carries no monthly fee for Makuake buyers.
The 10-hour total shows crowdfunding demand for consumer AI hardware that turns pet vocalizations into interpretable messages, a use case the maker trained over about two years with veterinary and volunteer data.

Eleven LLC says the collar unit weighs about 27.2g and answers in about 1.2 seconds, the manufacturer's stated response time. Messages appear in a dedicated app, where the maker suggests comparing the reading against the pet's expression, gestures, and situation right after it vocalizes.

The device also carries location checking and a nearby-pet search over Bluetooth, for the times a pet is not in its usual spot. Units bought through Makuake come with the main functions, two-way communication, location checking, and software updates, and no monthly fee or subscription. Development ran about two years.

PettiChat ships with no monthly fee for Makuake backers, so Eleven LLC takes the margin hit on Bluetooth tracking and audio playback. The hardware cost model, not the translation claim, decides if this survives past the campaign.
PettiChat carries no monthly fee for Makuake backers. Eleven LLC absorbs the cost of Bluetooth tracking and pet-directed audio to keep it that way.
PettiChat's no-monthly-fee promise for Makuake buyers puts the cost of Bluetooth location and owner-to-pet audio on Eleven LLC instead of subscribers. The collar sells the translation claim, but the recurring-revenue gap is the part that has to survive after the campaign.
Eleven LLC's PettiChat, an AI pet translator that clips to a collar, passed 1 million yen in Makuake support purchases within 10 hours of its project going live.
