It is set in Antarctica, where two human factions are in conflict and one seeks destruction through the ancient beings. The player waddles, slides, and swims, meeting penguins whose abilities affect how the game progresses. It supports Japanese and is out on PC via Steam, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release planned.","whyItMatters":"ORIGAME DIGITAL follows Umurangi Generation with a game that turns Lovecraft's Antarctic horror into a penguin's-eye walking sim, betting that the At the Mountains of Madness material reads differently from the bottom of the food chain.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe studio behind Umurangi Generation has put out a Lovecraftian narrative walking sim with a penguin as its lead. Antarctica is the setting, and two human factions are fighting there; one of them wants to bring about destruction using the ancient beings. The player crosses the ice by waddling, sliding, and swimming, and meets penguins whose abilities, such as entering narrow spaces or swimming freely in the icy sea, change how the game progresses. The game supports Japanese and is available on PC via Steam at 10 percent off until October 31.
