Ahead Of October 21 In-Game Debut
Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio released a special movie on October 15, 2026 for the cover of "God knows..." performed by Rin Akane, voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa, in NTE: Neverness to Everness. The video went up on the game's official YouTube and X accounts. In it, Rin Akane performs on stage with the protagonist, Nanari (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu), Hania (voiced by Manaka Iwami), and other members of the band Nekotori!!!!. The cover is set to be added to the game in the second half of Ver.1.4, which starts October 21. Rin Akane is a Phase-attribute, S-rank character who arrives in that same second-half update. "God knows..." is an insert song from the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, with lyrics by Aki Hata and composition by Satoru Kousaki. The original is credited to Aya Hirano. Rin Akane appears in the side story The Beginning of a Certain Legendary Band (Is It?), where she plays with the protagonist and others.
The cover follows an earlier in-game Nekotori!!!! cover of MyGO!!!!!'s "Meisei Kyou," whose special movie passed 1.7 million YouTube views as of October 15, making the band spin-off the vehicle for NTE's licensed-music crossovers.

The second half of Ver.1.4 also adds "To the Us of That Day," a sequel to the band side story in which Nekotori!!!! performs at Craymon Academy's founding anniversary festival.
