Subscribers can download the game from its Nintendo Store or eShop page and play it free once the period opens. The asymmetrical action game splits players into Human and Ghost teams for three-minute matches, supports up to eight players, and offers online and local multiplayer.
Nintendo is using a free-play week to put a smaller asymmetrical multiplayer title in front of its subscriber base, and the overlapping 30% discount gives that audience a reason to buy before the sale ends November 15.

Obakeidoro 2 comes from Free Style, the studio behind the original asymmetrical chase game. Matches run three minutes: one team of humans tries to escape, the other uses skills to catch them. The title supports up to eight players and both online and local multiplayer.

Participation needs only a download. Subscribers grab the software from the Nintendo Switch Online Free Trial spot on the Nintendo Store product page or at the top of the Obakeidoro 2 page on the eShop, and it becomes playable when the period starts on October 26 at 12:00.

Obakeidoro 2's free window is seven days, but its three-minute matches come in eight-player online and local play. That compact session length is what fits a timed trial better than a long campaign.
Obakeidoro 2's three-minute, eight-player matches suit a seven-day trial; a longer campaign would not.
Obakeidoro 2 runs three-minute matches with up to eight players, online and local. That session length is why a one-week free window works: players can cycle a full match in the time a longer game would take just to load.
Nintendo has set the next Nintendo Switch Online Free Trial for Obakeidoro 2, free to play from October 26 at 12:00 to November 1 at 17:59.
