The bundle pairs the console with a download code redeemable for one of three Nintendo-published titles: Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, and Tomodachi Collection: Wakuwaku Life. Nintendo Store pre-orders opened the same day, and orders will be accepted at game retailers and online shops nationwide as preparations are completed. The code is valid until March 31, 2027, and Nintendo says there are no plans to add redeemable titles before then. Because the standalone console is 59,980 yen, the gap is 4,000 yen, which works out to savings of roughly 3,000 to 5,000 yen against buying the console and one eligible game separately.","whyItMatters":"The bundle quietly discounts hardware Nintendo raised the price of by 10,000 yen on May 25, 2026, without touching the official console price, and the fan conversation it triggered is really about something Nintendo says it is not bringing back.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe three eligible titles carry separate download prices on the Nintendo Store: Mario Kart World at 8,980 yen, Tomodachi Collection: Wakuwaku Life at 7,100 yen, and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort at 5,980 yen.
