Three crew members clear mini-games while one hidden spy sabotages them. Suspicion votes after each round build a visible hat on the accused player. Up to 5 rounds end in a ring-out showdown on a floating island. Wishlist registrations are open now.
The design leans on the ambiguity between a genuine input error and deliberate sabotage, making ordinary mistakes the game's evidence rather than a separate mechanic.

The game runs up to 5 rounds, each starting with a roulette that picks the mini-game. Players carry cargo, row a boat timed together through a cave, or stack a tower with a crane, and the spy works against them inside those tasks.

After each mini-game, players stand on the card of whoever they suspect. The accumulated suspicion becomes a hat on that player's head for the rest of the match. Crew members win the final showdown by knocking the spy off a floating island, and the spy wins by escaping or eliminating all of them. Clearing more mini-games yields more blast tickets, but a comeback remains possible.

WAZATO puts the vote on screen: each round builds a visible hat on the accused player, so a wrong read follows that player for the rest of the match. The social cost of suspicion is the mechanic.
WAZATO makes suspicion physical: the accused player wears a visible hat that builds each round, so a bad vote sticks to them.
WAZATO's real pressure isn't the sabotage, it's the hat. Each round's suspicion vote builds a visible marker on the accused player, so a wrong read follows them into the next round. With five rounds ending in a ring-out, the accusation itself becomes the thing to survive.
Nichicoma LLC is developing WAZATO - Sono Misu, Waza to?, a four-player online party game headed to Steam for Windows and macOS (Apple silicon).
