Registration for a Korea focus group test opened the same day and runs until November 15, with the test set for December to evaluate game content. Talesweaver itself released in 2003 and is based on Jeon Min-hee's novel The Children of the Rune.
Nexon is treating Talesweaver as a rework under the Mobile label rather than a straight port, the same path it took with Mabinogi Mobile, so the December test decides what this build actually contains.

Nexon has not described TALESWEAVER MOBILE as a smartphone port of the 2003 MMORPG, which leaves open how much of the original is being rebuilt. The company has put the "Mobile" or "M" label on long-established online games before, and this one is billed as a new work.
