The PC update arrives October 22, 2026, with the console release set for November 2026 in Japan. The two Redux titles are the 2014 remasters of METRO 2033 and METRO Last Light, both based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel Metro 2033. The pair adds native PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S support. On PlayStation hardware the games add PSSR upscaling, and on Xbox Series X they add TSR upscaling and anti-aliasing. Both versions support 3D audio, and the PC release adds DLSS support. The update also carries 4K textures on compatible platforms, improved animations, sound, and environmental expression, plus bug fixes and quality-of-life changes the community requested. Patch notes will arrive at release. The series has passed 50 million copies sold worldwide since METRO 2033 launched in 2009.","whyItMatters":"Deep Silver is rebuilding the two 2014 remasters before METRO 2039 arrives on February 4, 2027, giving new buyers a current-generation entry point into the series.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eNative 4K resolution and 120fps rendering with upscaled 4K are listed for consoles.
