The fox-spirit title had been blocked from Steam after failing review three or more times and was banned from sale in 2021, a run that cost nearly 5 million yen. Its all-ages version went free on DLsite, where the game sold about 50,000 copies.","whyItMatters":"A title that Steam rejected outright in 2021 is now on the storefront under a different publisher, which suggests the barrier was the publishing arrangement as much as the content.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe Steam release is handled by akaeroCore rather than DLsite, the publisher attached to the earlier attempt. Kon Kitsune to no Nichijou is a slow-life adventure built around a fox spirit called Kon Kitsune: days spent in the Good Deeds Club, tea, head-pats, period dramas, and a dress-up system whose outfits carry into event scenes. Sofia to no Himitsu arrived on Steam the same day.
