The picture shows a sphere and text beginning with U and ending with L, plus a 25th icon in the lower right. The hints point to a Universal Studios Japan tie-in, as USJ marks its 25th anniversary this year.
The teaser suggests McDonald's Japan is returning to the USJ toy line it has run before, timed to the park's 25th anniversary year.

The post carried no product details, only the image and a short line: "It's coming soon!" The visible clues are a sphere, partial lettering, and the 25th mark in the corner.

McDonald's Japan has run USJ-themed Happy Sets before under the name Universal Studios Japan All Stars, with toys drawn from park characters. That earlier run is the reference point readers are working from, since the new post offers nothing beyond the artwork itself.

Happy Meal tie-ins travel through McDonald's Japan's supply chain, not a film committee, so a USJ-themed set hinges on USJ's own merchandise schedule. The 25th icon ties the set to that anniversary window.
A USJ Happy Meal depends on USJ's own merch calendar, not a film committee, so the 25th icon sets the window.
USJ's 25th anniversary is the peg, but a Happy Meal tie-in runs through McDonald's Japan's own supply chain rather than an anime production committee. That is why the tease is a sphere and two letters instead of a title: the licensing has to clear two separate corporate calendars.
McDonald's Japan put up an image on X on October 8 that reads as a teaser for its next Happy Set.
