He formed a VRChat group in March, launched a joint world project, held a two-day music live in May that lost its first day and ran two hours late on the second, then staged the Masahiro Inoue Debug Festival in July as a one-day rematch. He is now filming a tokusatsu drama inside VRChat and took part in Virtual Market 2026 Summer.
Inoue is an established tokusatsu actor producing his own tokusatsu drama inside a social VR platform rather than through a conventional production pipeline, which puts a working genre performer and the VRChat creators around him on the same production.

By July, with the event cut to a single day, Inoue also worked as actor and director on a hero show at Aoyama Shoji's booth during Virtual Market 2026 Summer.
