Alongside VTuber Member Template
Live2D Inc. pushed a major update to its browser-based online video editor "nizima ACTION!! β version" on October 28, 2026, adding a collaborative editing feature that lets several people share one project and work on it at the same time. Invited members can be given one of three roles: admin permission, edit permission, or view permission. While users edit together, their icons appear on the canvas and timeline so each person can see who is working where. Live2D also released a Member Introduction Template at the same time, aimed at VTuber groups; swapping in models and text produces a group introduction video. The editor is focused on short videos of roughly one to five minutes. It is free to anyone with a nizima account, and a desktop app version with offline startup and local saving is planned. A comment feature for text communication inside projects is also planned.
Co-editing moves nizima ACTION!! from a solo browser tool toward group production work, the same kind of simultaneous editing that video teams and VTuber units would otherwise handle in desktop software.

The update covers groundwork beyond the shared canvas. Projects can be split by role rather than handed around as files, which fits the cases Live2D names for the feature: collab videos between VTubers, videos made among fellow creators, and editing and supervision inside a job or team.

nizima ACTION!! already handles cut editing, telop insertion, effects and animation, and keyframe work in a browser. Because Live2D develops the underlying expression technology, the editor loads Live2D models directly and can record model movement in coordination with the tracking app nizima LIVE, with parameter adjustment and expression and motion application available. The Member Introduction Template takes the same models and text and lays them into a group lineup, so a unit can assemble an introduction video without building the layout from scratch.

Live2D states the editor is free to anyone holding a nizima account, and that a desktop app version supporting offline startup and local saving is planned. The company also lists a comment feature for in-project text communication as a future addition.

Live2D's nizima ACTION!! now puts user icons on the canvas and timeline during simultaneous editing, so a group project shows who is working where.
nizima ACTION!! splits collaborators into admin, edit, and view permissions.
