The studio judged it safest to shut the entire Workshop until the situation is investigated and confirmed, and it urges players to delete any mods they have downloaded so far as a precaution. A reopening date is undecided, though the developer wants to reopen as soon as possible. Content Warning is available on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
A studio shutting its whole Workshop rather than pulling individual mods shows how little control a small developer has over third-party uploads, and the wider cost lands on players who now have to clean out their own installs.

Landfall Games found malicious content on the Content Warning Steam Workshop and closed the entire service rather than removing individual uploads. The studio says it wants to reopen as soon as possible but has set no date. In the meantime it is asking players to delete every mod they have downloaded from the Workshop, a request that puts the cleanup on the user side. The game itself is unchanged and still sold on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

Landfall Games has temporarily closed the Content Warning Steam Workshop after malicious content was found.
