The kit returns with four face parts, including blue eyes and red eyes newly drawn by character designer Kunihiko Tanaka, plus a swappable front hair part for the Hilbert Effect. It ships with the Dragon Skull, Hand Vulcan, Impact Cannon and Hand Gun, and the X-BUSTER can be reproduced by swapping the abdomen part. Priced at 8,580 yen, release is set for May 2027.
A decade-old kit coming back at a set price and date answers the secondary market directly: Kotobukiya is treating sustained Xenosaga demand as enough to justify another run rather than a one-off restock.

The reprint keeps the original loadout rather than trimming it. Four face parts are included, two of them blue eyes and red eyes freshly drawn by character designer Kunihiko Tanaka, and the front hair part swaps out to reproduce the Hilbert Effect.

Weapons are covered as well. The Dragon Skull, Hand Vulcan, Impact Cannon and Hand Gun are all in the box, and swapping the abdomen part lets the builder pose the X-BUSTER from the later stretch of the story. New art from the original designer gives a 2027 reprint a reason beyond nostalgia, since the mold itself is unchanged.
Kotobukiya is bringing back the KOS-MOS Ver.1 plastic model from Xenosaga Episode I.
