The non-scale figure stands about 244mm with its base, is sculpted by Jonji, and is built to show a softness of flesh that the plastic model could not reproduce. Armaments around the waist use magnets and can be removed, and the Kotobukiya Shop adds an interchangeable face part as a bonus.
The plastic model line's design limits are the sales pitch here: Kotobukiya is selling the figure on what the kit could not do, with magnetic armaments as the mechanical hook.

The figure is non-scale and measures roughly 244mm including its base, with Jonji credited as sculptor. Kotobukiya lists brushed-up hair and metallic paint among the points it wants buyers to notice, alongside the flesh rendering that a plastic model could not match.

The waist armaments are held by built-in magnets, and removing the peg on the left hip part clears them away, so the disarmed state can be posed as well. Kotobukiya frames the result as a composed smile under the threat of losing her weapons.

Kotobukiya's Durga I Darkness Queen figure drops the plastic model's rigid joints for magnets at the waist. That swap is what lets the 244mm sculpt sell flesh softness a kit cannot mold.
The Durga I Darkness Queen figure replaces the kit's rigid waist joint with magnets. That is how a 244mm statue sells softness plastic cannot.
Kotobukiya's Durga I Darkness Queen figure trades the plastic model's fixed waist joint for magnets, and that removable armament is the piece doing the work. Without it, the 244mm sculpt is just another static pose; with it, the figure can sell flesh softness the kit cannot mold.
Kotobukiya has opened a figure version of Frame Arms Girl Durga I Darkness Queen Ver. for May 2027 at 22,000 yen, with Jonji as sculptor. The pitch rests on flesh rendering the plastic model could not reproduce, plus waist armaments that detach through built-in magnets. A Kotobukiya Shop bonus interchangeable face part comes with the order.
[{"source":"Dengeki Hobby Web","url":"https://hobby.dengeki.com/news/3190339/","title":"Frame Arms Girl Durga I Darkness Queen Ver.
