The expanded chapter will run 26 pages. The announcement does not specify whether this is the end of the manga or the end of an arc. Tanabe launched the series in the magazine in September 2024.
The magazine calls it a "series finale chapter" but leaves the scope open, so readers cannot yet tell whether Tanabe is ending Kai-hen Wizards outright or closing one arc on a series that launched in September 2024 and has four collected volumes.

The finale chapter runs 26 pages, an expanded length for the magazine's next issue.
