The cooperative board game, set in the League of Legends world, has 2 to 4 players programming mech actions with cards across 10 missions of about 60 to 90 minutes each. Riot Games released the original in 2016; it went out of print in 2020, and a reprint was set for its 10th anniversary through a licensing deal with Incredible Dream Studios. Title and price are undecided.","whyItMatters":"The Japanese edition rides a reprint that only exists because Riot Games and Incredible Dream Studios reached a licensing deal for the game's 10th anniversary, so Japan gets the game through the same partnership rather than a separate local push.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe Japanese edition is part of the global rollout tied to that reprint, not a separate regional release. JELLY JELLY GAMES has not fixed the Japanese title, the price, or the specifications; the announcement asks readers to follow its social media accounts for those details. What is settled is the game itself: pre-painted miniatures, 10 missions with objectives that change as new rules and mechanics come in, and the programming system where players lay out movement and attack cards before the mechs act. The original edition came from Riot Games in 2016.\u003c/p\u003e","blueskyPost":"Mechs vs. Minions went out of print in 2020, and the route back to shelves runs through Riot GAMES licensing Incredible Dream Studios for a 10th-anniversary reprint. JELLY JELLY GAMES gets the Japanese edition from that deal.","twitterPost":"Mechs vs. Minions returns through a Riot GAMES reprint deal with Incredible Dream Studios, not a direct Riot reprint. JELLY JELLY GAMES carries the Japanese edition.","threadsPost":"Mechs vs. Minions was out of print from 2020, and what brings it back is a licensing deal: Riot GAMES partnered with Incredible Dream Studios on a 10th-anniversary reprint. JELLY JELLY GAMES holds the Japanese edition. The English and Japanese versions ride the same revival.","newsletterBlurb":"JELLY JELLY GAMES announced a Japanese edition of Mechs vs. Minions for 2027.
