The demo carries a story and map built for it alone, so players avoid spoilers for the main game. Players control a mouse helping an ailing witch, using a magic frog backpack to swing and glide, with online and split-screen local co-op and magical clones in single-player. The game is scheduled for December 1 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Releasing a demo whose story and map exist nowhere in the finished game is a deliberate spoiler shield, and it puts the co-op pitch in front of Next Fest players before the December 1 launch.

The demo is not a slice of the finished game. Windup built a separate story and map for it, so the forest players explore now will not be the one they meet at launch. The magic frog backpack anchors the movement: its tongue hooks onto branches to swing, and it inflates into a glide.

Co-op supports up to four players online or two on split screen, and single players can conjure magical clones with "bunshin" to work the gimmicks alone.
