Across two talk sessions, lead voice actor Wataru Takagi hosted director Shinji Takamatsu, character designer Shigeyoshi Nishimura, and mechanical designer Junya Ishigaki. Four episodes from a six-episode shortlist were screened. The 30th anniversary key visual, released September 25, was also discussed.","whyItMatters":"The retrospective puts the production staff on record about how Gundam X was built, from the Newtype theme being proposed by series composition rather than the director to the satellite cannon setting being reverse-engineered from Ishigaki's design, which is the kind of detail these anniversary screenings exist to capture before it is lost.","webCardHtml":"\u003cp\u003eThe event ran twice on September 27 at TOHO Cinemas Ikebukuro in Tokyo, once after the 15:00 screening and once before the 18:20 screening.
