The figure stands approximately 28cm tall and is set to roll out sequentially to game centers and amusement facilities nationwide starting Friday, September 25, 2026. It is the first protagonist mobile suit from the series to appear in this line, which is built around the concept of "exceeding the limits of robot prize figures." The Strike Gundam is rendered in a form that conveys its defining silhouette. Product details are listed on the Banpresto Navi page. Reactions online include "Seriously!?", "I absolutely want it," and "This is so my taste." Some commenters are asking for a Deactivate Mode version and a Strike Rouge release.
The Genkitoppa line leans on size as its selling point, and a 28cm Strike Gundam tests whether that scale works for a lead mecha rather than the larger machines the format has favored.

The Genkitoppa line's pitch has been straightforward: outsize robot prize figures. The Strike Gundam release tests that conceit on a lead mecha, and at approximately 28cm in total height the piece lands in the same size bracket as the larger entries in the format. Banpresto's parent rollout schedule puts it into game centers and amusement facilities nationwide from Friday, September 25, 2026, with the Banpresto Navi product page carrying the item details.

Online response leaned on the figure's scale. Commenters reacted with "Seriously!?" and "I want it," alongside enthusiasm like "I absolutely want it" and "This is so my taste." Some pushed toward the rest of the SEED roster, asking whether a Deactivate Mode version would follow and requesting a Strike Rouge release. The line's previous entries have skewed toward larger mobile suits, which makes the Strike Gundam a different kind of test: whether the format's size hook carries over to the series' front-line unit rather than the heavier designs.

Banpresto's 28cm Strike Gundam is the first protagonist mobile suit in the Genkitoppa line, so the line's real test is whether other leads follow or whether this stays a one-off.
Banpresto's Genkitoppa line built its name on size. Its first Gundam SEED lead suit tests whether size alone sells a 28cm prize figure.
The Strike Gundam is the first protagonist mobile suit in Banpresto's Genkitoppa line, which is built on exceeding robot prize figure limits. Fitting a lead Gundam into that size concept is the harder part, and commenters already asking for Deactivate Mode and Strike Rouge show the mold has room to run.
Banpresto is adding a Strike Gundam to its Genkitoppa prize figure line, sized at approximately 28cm and heading to game centers nationwide from Friday, September 25, 2026. The line is built around the idea of pushing robot prize figure scale past its usual limits. Fan response has focused on the size, with requests already surfacing for a Deactivate Mode and a Strike Rouge release.
[{"source":"Magmix","url":"https://magmix.jp/post/377809","title":""Gundam SEED" Protagonist Mecha Gets Figure at "Outrageous Size," Fans React: "I Absolutely Need It" - Arrives from September 25"},{"source":"Inside","url":"https://www.inside-games.jp/article/2026/09/25/188217.html","title":""Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" "Genkai Toppa" "Strike Gundam" Prize Figure to Roll Out Sequentially!
