Nendoroid Light keeps the deformed look of the Nendoroid line at a lower price with specs aimed at collectors. Defect returns from the first Slay the Spire, where players used its orb-based fighting style. Release timing, price, and preorder date are undecided.
Good Smile is putting a returning Slay the Spire character into its cheaper Nendoroid Light line before Slay the Spire 2's own release details are settled, a sign the merch pipeline is running ahead of the game itself.

Nendoroid Light sits below the main Nendoroid line in price and in spec, built so buyers can collect more than one. Defect is the first Slay the Spire 2 subject placed in it, announced through Good Smile's X account rather than a product page. The character carries over from the first game, where its orb mechanics gave it a distinct play pattern. Good Smile has not set a release window, a price, or a preorder date.

Defect returning for Slay the Spire 2 gives Good Smile a figure tied to a game players cannot buy yet. Nendoroid Light's cheaper spec is the other half: merchandising ahead of release.
Good Smile is selling a Defect figure for Slay the Spire 2 before the game has a release date.
Good Smile picked a character who cannot be played yet. Defect returns from the first Slay the Spire, but the Slay the Spire 2 figure ships with no release timing, price, or preorder date in hand, so the Nendoroid Light line carries the merchandising before the game does.
Good Smile Company announced that Defect, a returning character from the first Slay the Spire, will be released as a Nendoroid Light figure drawn from Slay the Spire 2.
