The version preview video also featured Noi, voiced by Shinichiro Miki, and appearances by the Seven Archons. The program title for the update appears in two forms across the coverage: one write-up gives it as "When the End Falls," while another renders it as "Tracing the End." The stream broadcast the character footage rather than a standalone trailer, and the images circulating are captures taken from that broadcast. Both new characters were introduced by voice cast announcement and in-motion footage in the same program.
The naming split between the two write-ups of the same program means the update's English title is not yet fixed in coverage, so readers should treat both renderings as provisional.

The preview program bundled the two character reveals with a version trailer broader in scope than a normal character teaser. Noi, credited to Shinichiro Miki, appeared in that trailer, and the Seven Archons were also shown. That puts the 7.2 presentation at two registers: individual character footage for Mitiya and Valerie, and a wider cast pan for the update itself.

Voice casting is the only hard detail attached to either new character so far. Yusuke Kobayashi and Makoto Furukawa are named as the actors behind Mitiya and Valerie, with no element, weapon, or region information given in the material. The element and weapon assignments, which usually accompany a kit reveal, did not surface in the program coverage.

The two versions of the program name are the one point where the write-ups diverge. One calls the update "When the End Falls," the other "Tracing the End." Both describe the same October 23 stream and the same pair of characters.

Genshin Impact Ver. 7.2 coverage carries two English renderings of the update name, When the End Falls and Tracing the End. The overlap will complicate searching.
Genshin Impact Ver. 7.2 is going out under two English renderings: When the End Falls in one write-up, Tracing the End in another.
