The 2016 first film airs November 20 in a slot extended by 10 minutes, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:04 p.m. The sequel, Sing: Next Stage, airs November 27 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:09 p.m. in a slot extended by 15 minutes, and will be shown uncut. Both films come from Illumination Entertainment, the studio behind the Minions and Despicable Me series. The first film follows koala impresario Buster Moon as he holds a singing contest to save his near-bankrupt theater.
