Exercise Honmaru- releases January 15, 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Six Touken Ranbu ONLINE sword boys, including Mikazuki Munechika, Okanehira, Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Heshikiri Hasebe, Yamanbagiri Chougi and Kumou, serve as instructors in a boxing exercise program. A writer who dislikes exercise tried it for a week and came away with sore shoulders and forearms.
The piece is a hands-on test rather than a news item, and what it reports is that the fitness frame holds up for someone who does not exercise: the sword boys' voiced praise and the post-session fist bump did the work that willpower had not.

The instructors are drawn from Touken Ranbu ONLINE and voiced throughout, with lines recorded for the exercise sessions and for everyday conversation in the honmaru. Players set a goal and intensity before starting, and a quiet mode is included for people in apartments who worry about foot noise. The writer's first session ended in soreness across the shoulders, upper arms and forearms, heavier on the dominant side. Praise varies by character: Shokudaikiri Mitsutada encourages gently, while Yamanbagiri Chougi is more sparing, which made his approval land harder. The writer also found that the game responds to Joy-Con motion even when a punch is not clean.

Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu's praise mechanic does the work a trainer's voice usually does: the sore shoulders came from a week of wanting to hear Mikazuki Munechika say it again.
Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu turns praise into the workout: a week of sore arms, earned by wanting Mikazuki Munechika to say it again.
Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu swaps the trainer's counting for compliments from six sword boys, Mikazuki Munechika among them. The writer's sore shoulders suggest the praise is doing the motivational work a coach's voice usually does.
Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu -Shutsujin!
