The game costs 5,478 yen including tax in both packaged and download form, the same price for either version. The content is unchanged from the existing release, but a new option lets players switch between a Graphics Priority Mode for image quality and a Performance Priority Mode for frame rate. The packaged edition ships with a special-design sleeve. The title was already available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Square Enix lists the Switch 2 release under the RPG genre with a CERO A rating, suitable for all ages. An official website and a promotional video accompany the launch.
The Switch 2 edition sells at the same 5,478 yen as prior releases while adding only a mode toggle and a sleeve, so Square Enix is treating the port as a hardware migration rather than a content expansion.

The Switch 2 release keeps the same game content as the earlier versions and adds only the two display modes, so buyers are paying 5,478 yen for the hardware migration and the sleeve rather than for new story or quest content.

Square Enix published an official site at dq11.jp and a promotional video on YouTube alongside the launch.
