Please wait for further instructions!" The image appears to contain text in the angelic script used in the NieR series. The post drew comments asking whether a NieR collaboration is coming, with some mentioning the character 2B. Developer Behaviour Interactive has not confirmed anything further.
The teaser leans on a script the NieR audience recognizes, so speculation has already run ahead of any announcement, and Behaviour Interactive's next post will be read as confirmation or denial of a NieR crossover.

The teaser was posted on Dead by Daylight's official accounts on October 2, alongside an image bearing the line about breached comms. What caught the NieR audience's eye is the script itself, which appears to match the angelic writing used in that series.

Behaviour Interactive has not confirmed what the teaser points to. Replies to the post ask whether a NieR collaboration is coming, with some naming 2B directly. Dead by Daylight has run crossovers with Resident Evil, Silent Hill, The Witcher 3, Tokyo Ghoul, and Hellraiser. The comms message tells players to wait for further instructions, and nothing beyond that has been posted.

Behaviour Interactive's teaser uses NieR's angelic script as the hook, not a logo. That choice points the speculation at the script itself, and 2B is the name fans keep attaching to it.
The teaser's hook is NieR's angelic script, not a logo. Behaviour Interactive has confirmed nothing, so the script is doing all the work.
The interesting detail in Dead by Daylight's teaser is the choice of script. Angelic letters point at NieR before any logo or character appears, and 2B is the name fans keep attaching to it. Behaviour Interactive has confirmed nothing further, so the speculation rests entirely on the lettering.
Dead by Daylight's official accounts posted a teaser on October 2 with an image that appears to use the angelic script from the NieR series, along with a line saying comms have been breached and to wait for further instructions.
