The track is by Crusher, a music creator mainly active in the United States, and was written as a commemorative song for the singing voice synthesis software Hatsune Miku V6, released Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Crusher, Heremija, Narase, and YZYX are credited.
The credited roster shows the V6 track released as a video work with a small team behind the vocals, so the commemorative song arrives as a produced piece rather than a bare release.

"Like a Shooting Star" was written for Hatsune Miku V6, the singing voice synthesis software released on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
