The video shows the remaster running at 30 to 40fps, largely holding the announced 40fps upper limit, with higher resolution and detail, more natural light, shadow, and water reflections, and a wider draw distance. The game launches September 29, 2026.
The comparison gives Switch 2 owners a concrete read on what the remaster changes against the version already on their shelf, which matters more than the port's announcement did.

The graphics comparison video from ElAnalistaDeBits puts the Switch 2 remaster and the original Switch release side by side. Resolution and detail separate at a glance, and the frame rate largely holds the announced 40fps ceiling, with the game running in a 30 to 40fps range. Light and shadow, reflections on water, and draw distance are the other areas the video tracks, all rendering further out and more naturally than the older Switch build.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is scheduled for release on September 29, 2026 for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, plus PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions get a current-generation upgrade priced at 100 yen each.

ElAnalistaDeBits measured The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered on Switch 2 at 30 to 40fps, so the 40fps ceiling is a roaming target, not a floor. The wider draw distance is the part that changes how the world reads.
ElAnalistaDeBits puts The Witcher 3 on Switch 2 at 30 to 40fps. The 40fps cap holds loosely; draw distance is the bigger gain.
ElAnalistaDeBits frames the Switch 2 upgrade of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered around 30 to 40fps, with the announced 40fps ceiling mostly holding rather than locked. Resolution, lighting, and draw distance carry more of the visible change than the frame range.
ElAnalistaDeBits released a graphics comparison of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered on Switch 2 against the existing Switch version, showing higher resolution and detail, wider draw distance, and a frame rate that mostly holds the announced 40fps ceiling.
