The build adds rollback-based online matches, support for the latest Windows, Alt+Enter fullscreen and window switching, fewer conflicts with streaming software, Steam screenshot and recording support, and key remapping through Steam Input. Players opt in by selecting the beta branch under game properties in their Steam library.
The free game shipped without networked play, so rollback netcode is the change that turns a novelty into something two people can actually sit down and play against each other.

The beta branch is the only place to try the new build for now; the main version stays as it was. Rollback netcode is the headline item, with the rest of the patch aimed at making the game behave on current hardware and inside streaming setups.

The underlying game remains free on Steam, and the briefs stay on. Henteko Doujin and D.C.S have not said when the modified version leaves beta.

Brief Karate Foolish adds rollback netplay and Steam Input remapping through an opt-in beta branch, so players wanting cleaner streams opt in while everyone else keeps the old build.
Brief Karate Foolish puts rollback netplay behind an opt-in Steam beta branch, so online play depends on players choosing the build.
Brief Karate Foolish adds rollback-based online matches, Steam Input remapping and fewer streaming conflicts, all through an opt-in beta branch. Henteko Doujin keeps the unstable build separate, so players who want online play select it themselves.
Henteko Doujin and D.C.S have opened an open beta for a modified Brief Karate Foolish that adds rollback-based online matches to the free live-action fighter.
