JUNON, who plays Ryuji's underling Hiroshi in the film, also wrote and composed part of the track. The film is a new adaptation of the 1983 yakuza film Ryuji, with Yuya Yagira as Ryuji and Rina Kawaei as his wife Mariko. The video combines film footage and making-of material.
A lead cast member writing for his own film's theme through his own group ties the promotion and the production together in a way a licensed outside artist would not.

The theme song was written for the film by BE:FIRST, and JUNON, who plays Ryuji's underling Hiroshi, also wrote and composed part of it. The song carries a message about living by one's own convictions and accepting oneself, scars and contradictions included. The video layers scenes from the film, including the dragon tattoo on Ryuji's back and the dining table he shares with his family, against images of the cast on set. Yuya Yagira, Rina Kawaei, Riku Hagiwara, JUNON, Misato Tanaka, RYUKI, Chihara Junior, Ken Miyake, and Hideaki Ito appear in the footage.

JUNON plays RYUJI's underling Hiroshi in RYUJI and wrote and composed part of the BE:FIRST theme song.
